“Jeff Grant is the Real Deal” — A Testimonial from Evan Osnos of The New Yorker
I am humbled and grateful to Evan Osnos, Staff Reporter for The New Yorker and author of the book, Wildland: The Making of America’s Fury. “Jeff Grant is the real deal; he’s candid and generous with his wisdom. I can’t imagine there is a lawyer in this country more qualified to consider the complex issues facing people prosecuted for white collar crimes and their families.” — Evan Osnos, The New Yorker
About GrantLaw, PLLC
Celebrating GrantLaw’s One-Year Anniversary
People experiencing white collar prosecutions often have many complex business and family issues in addition to those in their criminal cases. In most instances, their criminal defense lawyers simply do not have the experience or background to provide C-Suite level (or lived-experience) guidance, options and solutions.
That’s where we come in.
On Jan. 1, 2022, we launched GrantLaw, PLLC, a new type of law firm providing private general counsel services to clients facing, or who have previously faced, white collar prosecutions and/or regulatory proceedings, and their companies and families. In this role, we assist in making critical and timely business and family decisions, and in executing on them, so that clients have the best chance to come out the other side with lives of purpose, meaning and success.
We practice in New York and on authorized Federal matters, and work with local co-counsel and criminal defense counsel to represent clients throughout country.
To best ensure long-term results, we recommend, assemble, manage and collaborate with a wide breadth of professionals, including tax attorneys, bankruptcy lawyers, family lawyers, civil litigators, estate and trust lawyers, accountants, private investigators, fraud examiners, mitigation specialists, medical doctors and psychiatrists, forensic psychologists, drug and alcohol interventionists, prison consultants, white collar peer and support resources, and the like.
Notably, we regularly team with criminal defense lawyers to help achieve the client’s best possible sentencing, restitution and forfeiture outcomes.
And, of course, we are honored and grateful to represent our clients not going through these disruptive kinds of issues.
To say that our firm’s first year has been a success is a gross understatement. Even we couldn’t have anticipated the pent-up demand to fill the massive hole in the market for private general counsel with real-world, lived experience whom clients could trust.
So, for the clients and colleagues who reached out to us in our first year, thank you for your trust and confidence. And, for those of you who are out there disappointed, confused or not getting exactly what you need, we are here for you. We won’t let you down.
